“The Hunt is Over!”

Christian and Hannah have shared many stories throughout their relationship but the story of how they met will always be their favorite. It all started with a simple prompt presented by Hannah, “does cream cheese belong in sushi?” Anyone who knows Christian knows he takes his sushi game very seriously so without hesitation he sent her a message with his explanation as to why cream cheese did infact belong in sushi. From there they chatted and eventually exchanged numbers. Christian shamelessly asked Hannah to hang out several times with little to no luck. Hannah admits to making plans on several occasions but getting nervous and backing out, this was until one night she made an infamous butt dial. She accidentally called Christian and quickly hung up before he could answer. Within seconds he returned the call and they talked for over an hour. He finally took his chance and asked her one last time to hang out, she agreed. The following day was the big day! Hannah admits to trying on dozens of outfits but ended up wearing a pair of black pajama pants and no makeup because she “simply gave up." Running an hour behind she made her way to the marina to meet Christian for dinner on the boat. Incase you were wondering, in true Christian fashion he was wearing what Hannah would refer to as “Steve Irwin pants” that zipped into shorts when needed. They shared some laughs over fresh Poké bowls and ended up spending hours together before parting ways for the night. He answered all Hannah’s important questions like “who is cuter baby shrek or baby yoda” and “if you were a dog what breed would you be”. They continued to text and call daily for the next couple months. After some time, they both agreed they enjoyed each others company but weren’t looking for anything serious. Throughout that time Christian's love for hunting and fishing wore off on Hannah and she found herself accompanying him every chance she got. As they grew closer, their shared love for music led them to over 20 concerts together and eventually to the Whiskey Meyers concert where he asked her to officially be his girlfriend. Two years later on rainy and windy morning under a double rainbow Christian asked Hannah to marry him while on an early morning duck hunt and it’s been happily ever after since! They now share a life together with two dogs at their home in St. Augustine that Hannah describes as “a couple mounts short of bass pro shop”
