What began with a simple swipe on Hinge quickly became something sacred. Neither of us could have guessed that the person God had written into our story was already sitting a few rows away every Wednesday at Matthias’ Lot Church. It wasn’t coincidence but a calling. After our first date, everything changed. We sat across from one another and shared our testimonies; two stories of brokenness redeemed, darkness turned to light, and hearts made new by the grace of Jesus Christ. In each other’s words, we heard echoes of our own journey. The Lord had been preparing us separately for the moment our paths would finally meet. From that day forward, love grew naturally, rooted not in fleeting emotion, but in the steady foundation of faith. We began dating in August, and by early September, God made it clear that this was it, two lives becoming one for His glory. Now we look toward marriage with hearts full of gratitude and awe. Our days are filled with laughter, coffee runs, and movie nights, but above all, a shared desire to serve Christ and build a home centered on Him. As it says in Mark 10:9, Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate. And in the spirit of Ruth 1:17, Where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. We are simply living proof that God writes the most beautiful stories, when you let Him hold the pen.
