You're Invited

At the end of April 2018, during our junior year of high school, gym class had just wrapped up. While talking with a mutual friend on the school’s outdoor path, Christian stepped over to join the conversation. In that moment, introductions were made, marking the very beginning of our story. What started as a brief introduction quickly turned into an effortless conversation that carried us along the path and all the way to class. As our friend drifted away, it became just the two of us laughing, talking, and getting to know each other. From that moment on, there was a natural connection, as if we had known each other far longer than we actually had. Over the next few months, our bond continued to grow. We talked between classes, before and after school, and spent hours on the phone. Every hallway encounter, shared glance, and conversation brought us closer. Then, on October 20, 2018, was the day our relationship became official. What began after gym class slowly grew into something meaningful and genuine.
