What is transportation like on the island?

When should I arrive on the island?

Answer

We highly recommend arriving one Wednesday March 4 to join us late afternoon for the welcome event, that way you'll be well rested for excursion that will take place Thursday March 5.

There are villa options as well as limited hotel options. Please refer to 'travel' tab for reference. Due to limited lodging availability, if you're strongly interested in attending the wedding, please inquire about booking as soon as possible.

How do I get there?

Answer

Option 1 – Most Economical Fly to: Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas (STT) 
Step 1: Take a ferry from St. Thomas → Road Town, Tortola * Arrive at least 1–1.5 hrs before ferry time * Ferry departures: 9:00 AM, 1:50 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:30 PM * Travel time: ~1 hr Step 2: Take a second ferry from Road Town or Beef Island, Tortola → Virgin Gorda * From Road Town: 12:10 PM, 1:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 6:00 PM * From Beef Island: 1:00 PM, 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM, 9:00 PM * Travel time ~ 20 min Option 2 – Most Convenient Fly to: Tortola (EIS)

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible would be best. Due to multiple activities needing to be planned RSVP's will be due December 1, 2025.

Do I need a passport to go to Virgin Gorda?

Answer

Yes! Virgin Gorda is part of the British side of the Virgin Islands and therefore you are leaving the country.

Can I rent a car?

Answer

Yes ! Although the island is small, there is a car rental service. We recommend L&S or Speedy's rentals. *Driving is on the left side of the road* Please refer to travel tab for for information.
