What is the proper attire?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors and expect coastal summer weather to be hot and humid, so please keep that in mind. We want you to be comfortable for both the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Coastal Carolina Summer Wedding Attire For Men Welcome Party: We want you to be comfortable! Polo shirt and lightweight pants are perfect. Ceremony/Reception: Lightweight suits or sport coats are perfect — think linens or soft cottons. Ties are optional, so feel free to keep things open‑collar and effortlessly polished. Loafers or dress shoes that can handle a bit of sand are ideal. For Women Welcome Party: We want you to be comfortable! For women, we suggest breezy sundresses or skirts. Ceremony/Reception: Flowy summer dresses in breathable fabrics are the sweet spot. Florals, soft pastels, coastal blues, or anything that catches the light when the wind picks up will feel right at home. Dressy sandals or wedges work beautifully. Overall Vibe Picture “coastal chic meets easy summer sophistication.” We’re aiming for polished but not stuffy, stylish but not sweltering — the kind of look that feels right at home with salt in the air and a sunset on the horizon.

Will there be transportation for the ceremony and reception?
Answer
For those guests staying at the Courtyard Marriott: 79 Pope Avenue, HHI Transportation will be provided. Please arrive in the lobby no later than 4:10pm. Departure from the Courtyard Marriott will be promptly at 4:15pm. A return trip after the reception will be provided back to this location For those guest parking at the Sea Pines Beach Club: 87 N Sea Pines Drive, HHI Transportation will be provided starting at 4:15pm. Departure from this location will be at 4:30pm, 4:50pm with last run at 5:10pm. For those guests that wish to park at the Harbour Town Golf Links Clubhouse: 11 Lighthouse Lane, HHI You will have the ability to park and utilized the transportation from this location to the Sea Pines Beach Club for the reception. A return trip after the reception will be provide back to this location Please note that there is a walk from the Harbour Town Golf Links Clubhouse to the 18th Lawn so please give yourself ample time to get to the ceremony locations. There will be golf carts available for those guests that are unable to make the walk to and from.

Will there be parking?
Answer
Parking will be available at designated locations within Sea Pines Plantation, and there will be shuttles to take you to the ceremony.

Where is the best place to stay?
Answer
We recommend staying within Sea Pines Plantation, as that will be the location of the ceremony and reception - please refer to the "Travel" section of our website. If staying outside Sea Pines, please note that there is a $9 daily entry fee to Sea Pines, but this will be waived for attendees the day of the wedding. We have a limited number of rooms blocked at hotels outside Sea Pines - Courtyard Marriott at 79 Pope Road and Sonesta Resort at 130 Shipyard Drive
