When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by Saturday, April 26th 2025. You can do so by scanning the QR code on your invitation with your phone’s camera.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that you come dressed in cocktail attire. Examples: Midi dress, jumpsuit, suit & tie, dress pants, blazer, dress sandals, heels, loafers. Come comfortable, but please no jeans, ball caps, sneakers, shorts, or white dresses. ;-)

Are children welcome?

Answer

To keep our special day intimate and stress free, we request that children do not attend. Please join us for an adults only celebration and night of fun! We appreciate your understanding.

Where is The Brook located?

Answer

The venue is conveniently located 10 minutes off of I-71 in Marengo OH and 35 minutes north of Columbus.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

When you go to RSVP on the website, it will give you an option to let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a free gravel lot on site.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

You will want to arrive to the venue about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony so you can find your seat and get settled in.

Is the ceremony outdoor or indoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors in a beautiful, wooded area- weather permitting. We have an indoor building as a backup. There will be a mix of paved, gravel, and dirt paths. Golf carts will be available to assist guests who need transportation from the parking lot to the ceremony site.

Will you have an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask that you silence your phones and put them away for the duration of the ceremony. We've hired a professional photographer to capture the day, and we want everyone to be present in the moment. Don't worry- we'll share the photos with you afterwards!

Will you have an open bar?

Answer

Yes! If you'd like, you can tip our hardworking bartenders with cash or through Venmo.

What’s going on after the reception is over?

Answer

Our reception will end at 11 PM- but the party doesn’t have to end there! Join us for a campfire, smores, drinks, and music at the Social Hall, just steps from the reception pavilion.

What time do cars need picked up by on Sunday?

Answer

If you leave your car overnight, please pick it up by 10 AM Sunday morning.

Are there alternative lodging options available?

Answer

Yes! The venue allows free tent camping if that is your style. Camper parking is also permitted in the parking lot.

What is there to do at The Brook?

Answer

The Brook is located on the site of an old summer camp, so there are many fun activities offered on site. Such as a pool, hiking trails, basketball court, sand volleyball court, and a kickball field! Please feel free to bring your bathing suits, hiking boots, etc!

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We both appreciate your love and support! Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift. Though should you choose to honor us with a gift, we are registered though Zola and Amazon.
