Please RSVP by September 5th. The online RSVP is preferred, but you can send a text to Brittany and Christian letting us know!
We want you to feel great and enjoy yourself! Our dress code is somewhere between dressy casual and semi-formal. Think sundresses, jumpsuits, skirts, or cocktail dresses—and slacks or dress shirts for the guys. Jackets and ties aren’t required, but you’re more than welcome to dress them up if you’d like. Basically: a little fancier than your everyday, Fancy-ish, but not black tie
Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, with the reception indoors. If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, everything will move inside.
Maryland in October can be a bit of a wild card—crisp fall air, sunshine, or the occasional chill. Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, with the reception indoors. If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, everything will move inside. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap so you can enjoy the fall air comfortably!
Yes! The more nieces, nephews, cousins, chaos, and cupcake-covered faces, the better. This is a family celebration, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
If your RSVP form gives you the option to add a Guest, then yes — bring them along! Just make sure to include their first and last name when you RSVP so we know who to expect. If you don’t see the option to add a Guest, then your invite is just for you (and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!).
We love you, but… no. Our ceremony will be “unplugged,” meaning no phones, cameras, or iPads in sight. We want to see your smiling faces—not your screens! Our photographer will capture all the magic, and we promise to share the photos so you won’t miss a thing.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Great Hall at The Millstad Center, located at: 701 Whitaker Mill Rd, Joppa, MD 21085 From either Old Joppa Rd. or Belair Rd., turn onto Whitaker Mill Rd. and follow it all the way back. You’ll see a right turn—ignore it (even if your GPS insists)! Instead, continue straight into The Millstad driveway and follow it back to the stone building. Parking is available up the hill to the left of the building, just before the cabins. For the ceremony, from the parking lot, walk around the front of the building to the stone patio past the stairs. For the reception, use the main entrance at the front (stairs) or the wheelchair-accessible entrance directly off the parking lot. Handicap-accessible parking is available across from both the main entrance and the accessible entrance.
