Our love story started with… the most awkward introduction ever. High school. First day of Latin class. Christian was new to town, sitting alone, unsure of what to expect. Axelle noticed him right away and, true to her kind nature, walked over to say hello. “Hi, I’m Axelle. Welcome! What’s your name?” Christian’s response? “Christian.” That was it. No extra words, no conversation. He was shy, and she decided to leave him be. At the time, neither of us thought much of that awkward little moment. But as life unfolded, fate kept bringing us back to each other. Now, we look back and laugh—who knew that a shy hello and a one-word answer would lead us here? This is our happily-ever-after in the making.
