Located only 20 minutes from our wedding venue, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad is a great way to spend an afternoon if you want to see the beauty of Carlsbad aside from its beaches.
Windmill Food Hall
From thai food to southern bbq, you will have every type of food option at the Windmill Food Call located in Carlsbad right next to the Flower Fields and the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. The Brides favorite meal to get at the Windmill is Thai Style's Drunken Noodles and Spring Rolls.
Downtown Encinitas
Downtown Encinitas has the best food and dessert! Enjoyable nightlife and stores to peruse through as you walk downtown in Encinitas. Some must-try places along the strip would be Goodonya Organic Eatery, Jojo's Creamery, The Taco Stand and Union Kitchen and Tap.
Moonlight Beach
Moonlight Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Encinitas known for its wide open spaces for beach activities and crystal blue waters. Parking is fairly easy here and if the parking lots are full it is recommended to street park around the safe residential areas within close walking distance.
Carlsbad Village
Roam the lit up streets of downtown Carlsbad where theres plenty of "beachy" shopping and amazing restaurants to try. Some highly recommended spots here would be Le Papagayo, Gonzo Ramen, Tortilla Mia, and the Strawberry Shack. Fun Fact: this is where the Bride and Groom often spent time together when they first moved to San Diego in 2022.
The Forum Carlsbad
This is the Bride's favorite shopping center fixed with Anthropologie, Free People, Apple Store, Sur la Table, Ulta, Alo and more. A fun area to spend time with friends and family if you like to shop and eat.
Carlsbad Premium Outlets
Easy, close-by shopping located right next to The Windmill Food Hall. This is your one stop shop whether you need to kill some time or if you end up needing anything from extra dress socks, clothing, or accessories. This place will have it all!
