"Hey, I like your tattoos" were the first words he said, catching her by surprise. It was then that their fate was sealed on that special day in October 2015. They were nervous, yet entranced. And so, the words didn't get out as much as they wanted. Two years went by. Occasionally, they would cross paths and share a warm smile in passing. But as fate would have it, him, a fresh graduate student and her, a prospective graduate, found themselves in the same classroom but enrolled in different courses in the Fall semester of 2017. Excited, but still nervous, he strove to approach her. She was as intrigued as she was nervous. One day, nearing the end of a break period in the class, he finally spoke to her again since that special day in 2015. It felt right, it felt incomparable to anything they have felt before. And from that day on, they grew closer and closer, speaking for five minutes after class till eventually finding themselves lost in conversation for hours. Together, time followed them. There was never a dull moment. Every day they learned something new about each other, and they loved everything they learned. Following that Fall 2017 semester came Spring. And as fate would once again have it, the opportunity to attend the same class arose. They found themselves every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday sharing an hour together after that class at a table near the Library on UTSA's campus. They laughed, they discussed values, they even practiced harsh vocals! And again, it felt right. Summer 2018 shone upon their hearts, and they could not deny the beautiful connection they shared. They grew even closer, learning more about themselves, more about each other, more about what love truly is. He learned she was a mom of two--two of the most precious shih tzu's--and he became a father to them. They lived together, sometimes at his place, sometimes at hers. But home was never here or there; it was in each other. Now they invite you for another special day this October.
