If it wasn’t for Grandma Bertha, this love story would have never happened. For weeks Christian sent Alyssa roses and sunflowers (her favorite) and Grandma kept asking where they kept coming from. Alyssa opened up and on a Saturday morning, Grandma said to call him and tell him to come over for some enchiladas. For Christian it was a 4 hour drive, but he did it and ended up meeting Alyssa’s Grandma, Grandpa, uncles and Mom. After dinner they went out for drinks and spent some time together. Chris went home and within a couple weeks they went on their first official date to Ruth’s Chris in San Diego. That night they made it official. And within 2 weeks of that they moved in together. As crazy as it sounds, they couldn’t be without each other. Living with someone after about a month of dating was a challenge, but it was also a growing lesson for both of them. They grew a family. With their 3 dogs, Bundy (RIP), Leo, and Chapo. After 3 1/2 years of dating Chris popped the question in Monterey, California on August 9th, 2024. Now on September 13, 2025 they finally get to lock in the love they have for each other and share it with all of you!
