St. Paul's, the church where we are having the service, is an Orthodox Church parish. What should you expect?
The Orthodox Church has kept the practices & traditions of the early Church unbroken and is the second largest Christian group worldwide.
The services are the same no matter where you are in the world, except for the language translation! Our services are all in English.
You will hear us call ourselves "The One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church," but we are not in communion with the Roman Catholic Church. When we say Catholic, it is the untranslated word that means "Worldwide."
Everyone will be happy to see you visit! We do not carry the belief that you "cannot be saved" if you aren't Orthodox. Thank you for taking the time to witness Elijah and Christiana's partaking of God's sacrament of marriage through this ancient service.
Note: During most of the service, we will be standing. Please sit if need be, no one is judging you!🙂
