Billy and Christiana met in October 2024 in Edmond, Oklahoma at Henderson Hills Baptist Church. Christiana was just beginning residency at the Oklahoma City VA. What started as a casual friendship quickly grew into something more after a simple invitation to go car shopping turned into hours of conversation, tacos, and a walk in the park… From that day on, everything changed. Soon after, the two shared their first official date at a Thai restaurant. From then on, they were inseparable. As the relationship grew, so did their desire to serve others together by volunteering and building community in Oklahoma City. When work led Christiana to Medford, Oregon, they prayerfully chose to follow that path in faith, trusting God’s plan. One of their favorite memories is the road trip out west— filled with beautiful landscapes and meaningful moments. Billy moved to Medford in January 2026, and since then it’s been clear how well the two complement one another. Even through seasons of long distance, Billy & Christiana remained grounded in prayer and committed to keeping Christ at the center of the relationship. Billy and Christiana are so grateful for the journey that brought them here and can’t wait to begin this next chapter together on August 22.
