Is there a change of venue for the reception?

Answer

No, both the ceremony and the reception will be held at the same location. The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be inside.

Can we bring our children?

While we adore your little ones, we are keeping the celebration mostly kid-free, with exceptions for family members. We appreciate your understanding!

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

There is ample parking behind the barn.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the day with us! The dress code is smart casual—think relaxed yet polished. Since the ceremony will be held in a barn and Oregon summers can get quite hot, we recommend light, breathable fabrics to stay cool. While the wedding party has been asked to wear a specific color, guests are free to choose what makes them feel best, just keep it casual and comfortable for a fun, laid-back celebration! We kindly ask that only the bride wear white, so please avoid wearing white dresses.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

We would love for you to be present in the moment, so we’re having an unplugged ceremony. Our photographer will capture all the special moments, and we promise to share them with you!

Our ceremony will be held outdoors at the Landscaped Garden. The reception will be indoors in the barn.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

For this time of year in Oregon, you can expect it be a hot summer month with a temperature range of average high of 79.2°F (26.2°C) and an average low of 51.3°F (10.7°C).

Will dinner be served?

Absolutely! There will be dinner and dessert served during the reception.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our apartment in Beaverton, OR. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.

Why is there a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will be taking pictures from 2:30 pm until about 4pm. While we do that, there will be refreshments served at the bar, a photobooth and lawn games available for you to play.

Will there be a shuttle or transportation provided?

Answer

We do not have transportation arranged, so we encourage guests to carpool or use a ride-share service if needed. There is plenty of parking available at the venue.
