Abby is a world traveler and graduate from the University of Utah with degrees in Political Science and International Development. She enjoys her job with a non-profit that helps women living in poverty learn how to change their economic situation. Her free time is spent doing yoga, hiking, and encouraging environmentally sustaining practices.
Hannah
Daughter Bee
Hannah is a Biology major at the University of Utah, with a focus on research. She works for the Natural History Museum of Utah and is a prolific potter and beekeeper in her spare time. (If you're lucky, she'll gift you honey or a coffee mug!) She loves hiking and looking for wild mushrooms in the Wasatch mountains. She happened to be the very first person who knew that Julie said YES!
Simon
Best Son
Simon has been Julie's favorite male since he was born. He's just fine being the favorite male-child now that Christian is around <wink>. He is in 6th grade, loves to read, and loves to play sports (especially football.) He is happy skateboarding, hiking, swimming, skiing, paddle boarding, or playing video games!
Beans
The Best Girl
Beans, aka, Beans Girl, Beans Dog, Beansie, and Bubba, was adopted by Christian in April 2012. She is half border collie, half Australian shepherd and has a brother named Pork. Her favorite activity is fetching tennis balls, and the first thing she does after greeting Christian when he walks through the door is to grab her tennis ball. Beyond her passion for chasing tennis balls, she enjoys hiking, licking people’s hands and feet, sticking her head out the window during car rides, and enjoying a good belly rub.
