Kyle and Courtney met at VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa in the summer of 2015. Kyle was the Facilities Director and Courtney was the Food and Beverage Director. Their friendship started as a battle of what tools Courtney could and could not use of Kyle’s. This blossomed into a great friendship and loyalty to one another in an ever-fast-moving environment. Courtney moved in with Kyle and his roommate Corey in the summer of 2016. What was once a friendship of flicking crap back and forth turned into a wonderful relationship and the rest is history.

Kyle and Courtney were sitting in the Taco Bell parking lot. Kyle took a bite of his burrito and said, “I Love this burrito almost as much as I Love You.” Courtney replied, “Did you just say, You Love Me?”

It was New Year's Day 2021. Kyle and Courtney were on a hike with their friends Corey and Janell at Latourell Falls, Oregon. As they made it to the big fall Kyle wanted to stop and take a photo with Courtney. The photo was taken and there was an awkward pause when Corey said “Court, you may want to turn around.” Once Courtney turned around, she found Kyle down on one knee. Kyle asked, “Will you marry me?” and Courtney said “YES!”. The remainder of the hike was all photo ops by Janell capturing their special day. Once they returned to the parking lot, Corey and Janell had champagne ready to toast the newly engaged couple.

On June 12, 2021, Kyle and Courtney got married at their local Courthouse with their immediate family present. It was a ceremony that lasted all of 5 minutes, but the memories made will last a lifetime.
