We met in 2021 the old fashioned way - swapping COVID vaccine brands on Hinge. Josh was a gentleman and picked Christi up for our first date at an Arlington, VA beer garden. Four hours later, we made plans for our second date the very next day and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Not literally, since we were in a “local long-distance” relationship for our first two years, but braving the beltway multiple times each week made us realize we actually kinda liked each other!

Josh completely surprised Christi by popping the question during a Labor Day trip to Rehoboth Beach. There were clues that Christi should have picked up on, like Josh steaming his shirt before dinner (for the first time in his life). Christi was so surprised, when Josh got down on one knee, she thought he was joking and asked him to get up because people were starting to stare. Then he pulled out the ring and the rest is history! (spoiler: Christi said yes) We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
