The closest major airport is Sarasota–Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), about 30–40 minutes from the island. Tampa International Airport (TPA) is another great option with more flight availability, approximately 1-1.5 hours away. We recommend renting a car for ease of travel, though rideshares are also available.
Anna Maria Island offers a variety of accommodations, including boutique hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals.
The island is small, relaxed, and easy to navigate, with most locations just a short drive away. A free trolley also runs along the island!
