We both grew up in the small town of Burley, Idaho. Brian had the opportunity to attend multiple schools which made it hard for us to cross paths even in a small community. By high school, Kelsey was attending Burley High School, while Brian went to the rival school, Minico (Go Spartans). It wasn’t until we took a trip down memory lane in Kelsey’s high school yearbook where we found that Kelsey was actually cheering against Brian during the many Burley-Minico basketball games. After high school, real life struck and we both left our small town but in different directions. It wasn’t until our late twenties that we finally met in our now-hometown, Boise. Once we did, we were inseparable from the very first date. Since we both share a love for golf, our first date was an 18-hole round at Shadow Valley. Even though Kelsey shot a 100 and Brian shot a 105, he charmed her with his hole in one story and earned another date. That first summer together was filled with happiness, several more rounds of golf, meeting each other’s friends, lots of trips to the park with Benny, and attending as many Boise concerts as we could. It was at a Luke Combs concert that Brian won tickets on the radio (Go Broncos!), where we truly fell in love. Since that first summer, we have built a life together. We have grown alongside one another, supported each other’s goals, and created a life filled with love, laughter, and a lot of good food. This last December brought a new home that we love and are so excited to grow into. And, in an effort to keep Benny young, we introduced a new pup to the family, Frank. We look forward to many more years of laughing and growing together, playing endless rounds of Yahtzee to battle for the title of Dice Master, and cooking side by side in our kitchen. We are each other’s best friends, and we cannot wait to continue building our life together as husband and wife.
