Question
How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?
Answer
To RSVP, click the 'RSVP' tab above and type any name listed on your envelope. Kindly RSVP before May 5. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at your earliest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after May 5 will be marked as 'no' as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding. This pertains to children of all ages including infants, toddlers, kids, and teens. Check the names on your invitation or RSVP tab to see if we can accommodate your child!

Is there an open bar?
Answer
We will have a select menu available all night. If you would prefer something other than what is offered, it will be your responsibility to pay for it. Per our venue's request, ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL is allowed on the premises that is not provided by the venue.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! The dress code is Cocktail Attire. We recommend a suit for the men & cocktail dresses for the ladies. Please, no jeans and avoid shades of white.

Since there will be alcohol, what do we do about driving?
Answer
Country Lane Lodge allows guests to leave their vehicles overnight at the venue and pick them up the next morning by 12:00 PM (noon). We also encourage Uber or Lyft for transportation.

Are there hotel rooms available?
Answer
Yes! We have rooms blocked off (with a discounted rate) at the Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn Express in West Des Moines. Head over to the 'Hotel' tab to book a room!
Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM. We recommend arriving at least 15-30 minutes before the ceremony so you're able to mingle and get seated. Cocktail hour begins at 4:30 PM, with the reception beginning at 5:30 PM.
