Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We're tying the knot at Sacred Heart Parish in Bellingham, Washington at 1pm on December 19th, 2020.

Question

How will the pandemic affect the wedding?

Answer

Due to state regulations around COVID-19, we're having a small wedding of 30 people. We're working on setting up live streaming so that our beloved family and friends who are unable to attend can enjoy the ceremony remotely. We hope to have a reception in the future when circumstances allow us to invite more people.

Question

Am I invited?

Answer

Due to the pandemic, we regret that many of you will not be receiving invitations to attend in person. If you haven't been explicitly invited to attend in person, please stay tuned for details on watching the ceremony online.

Question

How do I watch the ceremony online?

Answer

We're working on it. Details to follow.

Question

What is the "betrothal" ceremony mentioned on the home page?

Answer

Betrothal is a stage between courtship and marriage. The rite of betrothal is an ancient tradition in which the future groom and bride promise to marry each other and receive the blessings of the Church upon their courtship. Although betrothal has largely fallen into disuse, it is still practiced in some communities.
