What was supposed to be a simple coffee meetup turned into an entire day that neither of us saw coming. Coffee turned into dinner. Dinner turned into rooftop drinks and dancing under the city lights. It felt like something out of a movie — effortless, magnetic, undeniable. I know it felt too good to be true, but it is really how it happened. We met in St. Patrick's Feast Day- and to both of us- we are each other's answered prayer. That day was more than a date. It was a moment that rewrote everything. We laughed like we hadn’t in years. We listened like we had known each other forever. And in between the music, the shared glances, and the honesty of two hearts wide open, something shifted. Walls came down. Peace settled in. And love — real, healing, fearless love — quietly made its way in. Neither of us imagined that in such a short time, we could love this deeply again. But this wasn’t just a rebound from pain; it was a resurrection of hope. We let go of the past not because we were forced to, but because we finally found someone who made us want to. And then, in the most full-circle moment, he proposed on the same rooftop where it all began — the place where everything changed. Surrounded by the same skyline, under the same night sky, we said yes to forever. Now, there's no time to waste. We’ve learned what doesn’t work. We’ve felt what we don’t want.
