Question

What is the dress code for the wedding? or Does the wedding have a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our wedding does have a dress code. Please refer to the Dress Code section of this website for more information.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving between 3:15pm to 3:45pm because NO ONE will be allowed to be seated after 3:55pm until after the Bride walks down the aisle.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. With that in mind, it is highly recommended that guest wear sunscreen and bug repellant and come to the ceremony hydrated. We will have hand fans that will be given upon entrance to the event. Ladies, please remember that you might have to walk on grass and/or rocks, so choose your shoes accordingly. The reception will be air conditioned and held indoors!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While we can't predict the exact forecast, the month of May in Florida is typically like any other day in Florida; Sunny, Humid, and Hot. All joke aside, as much as we don't want it to happen, there could be rainfall as well.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue? How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

There will be parking available at the venue. Listed below are brief directions to get to the venue from the 3 most likely starting points. If driving from Jupiter or Further South: Get onto I-95 Northbound Take Exit 76: Head on the ramp right and follow signs for FL-708 After .3 mi Turn left onto FL-708 / W Blue Heron Blvd After .8 mi Continue on FL-710 / Bee Line Hwy After 31 mi Turn right onto SW Fox Brown Rd (It will be an unpaved road) After 3.6 mi Turn Right Destination will be at the end of the road If driving from Stuart, FL: Get onto FL-714 / SW Martin Hwy After 15.6 mi Turn left onto SW Fox Brown Rd After 4.9 mi Turn Left Destination will be at the end of the road If driving from Port St Lucie or Further North: Get on I-95 Southbound At Exit 110, head on the ramp right and follow signs for County Hwy-714 / FL-714 After .3 mi Keep right, heading toward Florida International Agriculture Exposition Center After 10.0 mi Turn left onto SW Fox Brown Rd After 4.9 mi Turn left Destination will be at the end of the road.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will be offering a served buffet-style Haitian, Italian, and Mexican fusion dinner. During Cocktail Hour, hors d'eourves, matching the previously mentioned theme, and our custom wedding Mocktails will be served.

Will there be alcohol? Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will be having a Dry Wedding, meaning No-Alcohol will be served nor permitted.

What's the best way to RSVP? When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The best way to RSVP is through the RSVP page of this website. The RSVP deadline is Feb 1st.

I can't attend the wedding in-person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

As of right now there will not be a live stream of the wedding; however, we will post the wedding video on Youtube for public view a few weeks after the ceremony.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, but don't forget you can also access the registry on this website to send your gift directly to James and I before the wedding. If you'd rather give the gift on the day of the wedding we will have a gift table available.

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

Our primary way of contact will be through text messages or phone calls. Although we would absolutely hate for it to happen, given the nature of James and I's careers, we could be deployed at any moment. Therefore, it is imperative we have a way to contact each of our guests!
