We met in a private Facebook singles group both of us were invited to join. I had sworn off dating sites but after a friend invited me to join the group, and at that time everyone had Covid on the brain as we were about to go on national lockdown... I needed something to take my mind off of the unknown. I introduced myself in a post to the group and Adrian complimented my picture and asked could he send me a private message. I said sure, and we instantly started talking. He asked if he could FaceTime me and we talked for two hours. It turned out he'd been invited by a friend as well and we had a lot in common.

For our first date Adrian asked to take my horseback riding and we've been riding together ever since. I know most people are wondering why we chose October 4th for our wedding date. One of the first things we learned about each other is that we are both Libras. My birthday is October 3rd and Adrian's birthday is October 5th. For my first birthday as his girlfriend he threw me a huge surprise birthday party on a boat. I enjoyed myself but I was consumed with thoughts of how to make his day special also. Our relationship has consisted of us trying to make each other feel special and so we decided that day between our birthdays was special because it's our connector. For the rest of our lives we'll be able to celebrate each other and us for our own unique three day holiday.
