We are getting married aboard the MSC World American Cruise. It sails from Port Miami, for a 7 night, 8 day adventure! Our wedding will only be one day, but we hope to spend time with everyone and make some epic memories! If you would like to join us, please RSVP via this website (RSVP tab at the top), AND email Ryan with MSC Cruise Concierge (ryan.cruzleon@msccruisesusa.com) to book your room! He will keep us updated on who has booked.
We love cruising! We didn’t want a HUGE wedding and all the headaches that come along with it, so a cruise was the perfect solution!
As soon as possible! Unfortunately, the number of rooms available keeps decreasing and the cost is going to keep increasing the more you wait to book it (most likely) since it is a brand-new boat. RSVPing to us alone does NOT book your room! You also need to reach out to ryan.cruzleon@msccruisesusa.com (please copy and paste) to reserve your room with a deposit before Sunday, August 17th, 2025. We need a final head count by Sunday, August 17th, 2025, so please book and RSVP by then. If you are having trouble with anything, please let us know!
Yes and no. For the actual ceremony, think vacation formal (i.e. floral sundress or a button-down and tan trousers, but no white!). For the rest of the cruise, wear what you want! MSC tends to be more upscale than some other casual cruise lines, but be comfortable! They do have themed nights, including white nights, captain nights (the most formal night), and other fun things depending on the sailing!
Great question! Fortunately, you are on a cruise! MSC has a medical needs form that you can submit (information linked below) so that accommodations can be made. You can also ask the chefs at the buffet or your server in the dining room, or you can read the menu cards and descriptions. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/manage-booking/accessibility-and-medical-requests
Please email ryan.cruzleon@msccruisesusa.com (please copy and paste), and let him know you want to book for Christa and Zach’s Wedding cruise aboard the MSC World America sailing on November 22nd, 2025. He will set you up and let us know once he has added you to our party. If you book anywhere else, please send your booking number to her so she can add you!
Unfortunately, if you miss the RSVP date (Aug 17th, 2025), but still want to attend, there is nothing we can do to get you on board, guaranteed, as that is the date we need to send the manifest in to MSC. You can still reach out to Ryan (ryan.cruzleon@msccruises.com) and he will tell you whether you can be accommodated. If you are not able to secure a room by the RSVP date, please know we are really sad that you will not be able to attend. However, we are open to meeting sometime after our honeymoon to share some time together, and celebrate!
Nope! This ship is massive, with tons of fun, tasty, adventurous, and relaxing things to do, so go explore! The only "events" we want everyone to be at are our ceremony (obviously), after-party/cocktail hour, dinner that night, and Thanksgiving dinner. Other than those, we do have some excursions and ideas planned, so we will be busy. If you want to do something together with us, let us know and we will try our best to have fun! This is your vacation too, so go relax and have some fun!
Cruises can be finicky, and we apologize that we didn’t get the word out sooner. If you still want to go, plan on still going! If a room opens up, we will have our point of contact (Ryan) let you know so you can come celebrate! If no rooms open up before our cut-off date (Sunday, August 17th, 2025) or you cannot go for whatever reason, please let us know, and we would love to set a date after our honeymoon cruise to spend time together.
While it’s unfortunate that you can’t join us on our Wedding Cruise, we understand it’s not for everyone. We would enjoy and appreciate a heartfelt card or gift (see our registry page for ideas), or if you’re looking for quality time, we can meet sometime for a lunch outing or coffee break after we are back from our honeymoon!
Thank you for asking! We are extremely lucky to have a home full of things we love (without a dog at the moment), so if you'd like to help us celebrate with a gift, we've set up a few cash funds on the "Registry" page of this website to gift us experiences and help us pay for our honeymoon! Anything contributed is above and beyond attending our wedding, but it is a fun way for our favorite people to gift us experiences! If you wish to gift us anything physical, we ask for you to mail it or to wait to give it to us until after the cruise so we do not need to keep track of it while on board. Details: Zola makes no money off our cash funds; their transaction fee is charged by credit card companies. We are able to transfer the money from Zola to our personal accounts whenever we'd like.
Nope! If you need a hotel, we can work together on finding the right one for you. There are so many options based on convenience, budget, and other plans. There are some hotels near the port that have shuttles to the cruises, so that would be recommended so you don't have to deal with rental cars.
After the wedding, please use this Google Photos link to upload your photos to our album! If you didn't get the internet package while on board, (no worries we didn't either!), just upload them on your way home! https://photos.app.goo.gl/iDoqtss8q8ozUprf6
