Ceremony

The ceremony is at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, IL. It's the "big, white church on the main drag across from the park" and also the church where Christa was raised. Those Germans know a thing or two about a large and beautiful old church... she's a beaut, Clark. The reception will follow the ceremony and will be in Murphysboro at Brews Brothers Taproom, which is about a 40-minute drive from the church. Once you get the reception, please go on and eat, drink and be merry! Food will start at 4:30 pm and will be buffet, serve-yourself style. Beer (Busch Latte), wine, champagne, water and soda will be available as soon as you get there.

We want our reception to be very laid back. Jeans are perfectly fine. Please bring a jacket or sweatshirt in case it is cold because we will be outside.
We are having a block party! The reception will be outside, but we will have a tent in case of rain or cooler weather. Please bring a lawn chair to sit in to listen to the band, and maybe a jacket or blanket if it is cold. Kids are welcome! Food will be served buffet, serve-yourself style starting at 4:30 pm. Beer, wine, champagne, soda and water will be open once you arrive. No need to wait for the bride and groom! The band starts at 6:00 pm and we want your dancing shoes ready to boogie! The band will play until 10:00 pm.
