Well, as many of you know, Covid took us for a trip of a lifetime. But for Darryl and I, it turned our world upside down. One friday night at the beginning of Covid, we were just going to grab some pizza and hang out, just once. Well once turned into a lifetime of laughs, tears, and so many adventures.

So this question is iffy, if we are talking about a date we didn’t call a date, it was Chili’s. We were just friends and went to have dinner. But if we are talking about an ACTUAL date, he went all out. He bought me flowers, took me to see my bestfriend for dinner, and we went and got drinks at the beach. Little did I know that this would be the start of forever!

If I do say so, this night was by far the best night of my life. Darryl came home from Korea at the end of June 2021. He told me that we needed a night out. So he made reservations at Rocks on the River. I was so excited but so clueless on what everyone knew, that I didn’t. We had a super fancy dinner and decided to go up to the Rooftop and have a few drinks. He told me he had a surprise for me but that I would have to stand up to get it. And that’s where it all happened. My two best friends were right around the corner and I didn’t even know it! I can truly say this was the best night of my life.
