Flight
Midway (MDW) is the better bet over Ohare (ORD) since it's closer to Jtown. From Midway you will take 1-55 South towards Joliet and exit either Route 30 or Route 52. It's a straight shot and takes about an hour. There is not a train from either airport to Joliet, so you will have to rent a car, use a ride share service, or sweet talk a friend to pick you up :)
Train
Both Amtrak and Metra trains stop at Joliet Union Station. Chugga-chugga, choo-choo! Guests from Chicago who don't feel like driving down: take the Rock Island Metra from LaSalle Street Station directly to Joliet. The trip is 1-1.5 hours. Guests from STL can take the Amtrak to Joliet Gateway Center

Haley Mansion is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood a 1/2 mile off of Route 80, just 40 minutes southwest of downtown Chicago. It is easily accessible from all Chicago suburbs. Parking is FREE onsite.
