Moses H. Cone Memorial Park + Bass Lake

We love this park! It has lots of paved trails and views of the beautiful countryside. One of our favorite places in the area to take a walkabout. You can also check out the manor's gift shop which has items from local artisans!

Glen Burney Falls Trail

Grandfather Mountain

Take a hike at Grandfather Mountain! This park is known for its biodiversity and scenic views. Enjoy native wildlife exhibits, the Wilson Center for Nature Discovery, hiking trails and the famous Mile High Swinging Bridge that connects two peaks at one mile above sea level.

Julian Price Memorial Park

Activities include boat or canoe rentals, picnicking, a variety of nature walks and hiking trails.
