Let’s Celebrate!

It was love at first swipe for Raj and Chrissy. They met in July 2017 and had their first date at Wild Hare in San Francisco. Chrissy swears they used to serve a raucous brunch there, but on this day, they had the whole place to themselves for an earlybird lunch. Raj fell for her dimples and how much she laughed at his jokes and Chrissy was charmed by his confidence and lack of filter. They bonded over their love for their nieces (and now they have twice as many!). Pretty soon they were inseparable. After a couple more years of FUN in the city, they moved across the Golden Gate to the idyllic town of Tiburon and filled their days with long walks, good food, working hard and watching Raj’s beloved big screen TV. They took their love of camping to the next level (literally) and got a rooftop tent, spending many weekends pitching it all over the golden state from the Mendocino coast to the Mojave desert. Raj proposed in July 2021 in front of Chrissy’s parents’ house in Connecticut with the most beautiful ring on the planet (thanks Kimmy & Shannon for the assist!) and had a surprise party waiting at the winery next door with all of Chrissy’s closest friends! The party continued at her sister’s house and even included a firework show in the pouring rain. A day for the books for sure. They wasted no time scheming up their next chapter and within a month they’d found an amazing house near downtown Modesto and plotted their big move/return to Raj’s hometown. As if homeownership and wedding planning wasn’t busy enough, they adopted the sweetest pup ever, Kirra, in September and are positively obsessed with her.
