Our Story
Chrissy and Rachel met chatting online about video games like the introverted nerds they are. Neither was looking for love, but even though they were 350 miles apart and had never seen each other's faces, they developed a mutual crush over nights spent staying up late talking in the summer of 2018. When Rachel confessed her crush one evening that September, Chrissy was quick to reveal they felt the same way. Chrissy drove the 7 hours to visit Rachel soon after, and the two couldn't get enough of each other after meeting in person. They visited as often as possible until they were able to move in together in Brooklyn in August 2019. The pair moved to Providence one year later, adopting their two beloved cats Lila and Birdie soon after, and have lived there ever since. The couple were engaged in July 2022, and celebrated five years together in September 2023. They can't wait to celebrate their marriage with you and are deeply grateful for your love and support!
