Loch Lyme Lodge
This is where our ceremony and reception will take place but there is so much else to do! From the LLL website: "We have a lakeside beach and a grassy waterfront with comfortable Adirondack chairs and picnic tables. The shallow sandy bottom makes it easy for new bathers to get into the water and our three floats provide swimming and sunning destinations. The waterfront has two docks with kayaks, canoes, and rowboats that are free for our guest's use. The boathouse also has life jackets, paddles, and oars. We have tetherball, volleyball, soccer goals, clay tennis courts, half court basketball, and horseshoe pits in the big field behind the barn. The Carriage Trail loops about a mile through the woods for a nice jog or walk."
Lyme Country Store
The Lyme Country Store has a little bit of everything! Sandwiches, beverages, snacks, gas, sunscreen, coffee, ice cream--when we are in town, it's our go-to spot! Highly recommended.
Dartmouth Skiway
This is where Chrissy learned to ski! This is a great place to go for a hike; you can access the Appalachian Trail from the Skiway's parking lot.
Ariana's Restaurant at The Lyme Inn
We had dinner at Ariana's Restaurant located at the Lyme Inn two summers ago and loved it! A convenient spot just a mile from Loch Lyme Lodge.
Latham House Tavern
Located at Dowd's Country Inn, this is a great lunch option for those staying in Lyme. They have outdoor seating.
Lou's Restaurant & Bakery
The best breakfast around! They also serve lunch. Located in downtown Hanover.
King Arthur Baking Company
If you love to bake, check out King Arthur Baking Company! They also have delicious breakfast and lunch items to go.
Co-op Food Stores—Hanover
This is our usual stop for provisions on our way to Lyme. This is a convenient and well-stocked option for those staying in cabins with kitchens if you want to pick up supplies.
Piecemeal Pies
Convenient for those staying at the Fairfield Inn and highly recommended by a friend from the area.
Molly's
Good choice for pizza, drinks and pub grub for those near downtown Hanover; they have patio seating.
Fairlee Diner
Classic American diner not far from Loch Lyme Lodge; they have a small amount of outdoor seating.
Funkalicious Market and Deli
Lunch spot five minutes from the Fairfield Inn.
Dartmouth College
The 9th oldest college in the US--and Chrissy's paternal grandfather's alma mater! It's a beautiful campus if you are looking for a relaxing stroll or a visit to an art museum.
