This is about a 30 min Uber from Downtown to Hill Country but if you stay an extra day, it is worth checking out. They have live music on the weekends and also have a wine cellar. If you miss your chance to make it out to Driftwood don't worry there's a Salt Lick location in the Austin Airport.
