Where should I stay?

Answer

Guests are welcome to choose accommodations that best fit their needs and budget. On the travel tab, you’ll find recommended areas to stay, hotel blocks with discounts for our wedding guests, and preferred travel agents to assist with any additional travel needs.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Renting a car is optional but highly suggested. Guests are responsible for their own transportation while in Detroit, including travel to and from optional wedding events, the ceremony, and the reception. If you plan to explore the city during the weekend, we recommend arranging transportation in advance.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want our guests to feel comfortable throughout the wedding weekend. For optional events, please dress in whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Our ceremony dress code is Summer Formal, appropriate for a church setting. For the reception, guests are encouraged to wear Garden Party Semi-Formal attire. Please note the reception will be held outdoors and may require walking or standing on grass and other outdoor surfaces, so comfortable footwear is recommended.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1pm, doors will open at 12pm giving plenty of time to locate your seats and mingle with out guests.

How will wedding updates be communicated?

Answer

Any and all updates regarding our wedding weekend can be found on our website. We will send important information via Zola messaging. Please don't opt out of messaging, we are mindful of how many messages will be sent and will keep messaging to a minimum aside from important updates.
