Wedding Party

Christin Rennick

Matron of Honor

It feels like just yesterday - Chrissy & her mom just happened to be sitting directly in front of me & my dad at freshman orientation at SNHU. It was the awkward moment when the students and parents had to separate that our forever long friendship began. After our touring the school - we quickly knew it was in our best interest to room together and we remained roommates for the next 4 years.. 14 years later- those same two girls grew up & experienced all of life’s ups & downs while never once leaving each other’s side. Chrissy, you are the definition of a best friend and I couldn’t be happier that you have found the love that you deserve. To say I am honored to stand beside you on your big day is an understatement. I cannot wait to see what this next chapter has in store for you & Bobby!

Best Man

Bob and I met freshman year, at one of the many parties in his suite. He had shades and two hats on like an idiot “Not sure who you know but come on in! There’s Cap’t in the fridge, next time bring your own.” (He literally made me bring my own the rest of the year..) Bob and I weren’t really close though (probably because I was the only one dumb enough to think I actually had to donate a handle as entry fee!) until sophomore year.. he mentioned no one wanted to go with him to 18+ night at Bill’s bar - Bob and I share one very fatal flaw... FOMO. It's honestly, probably the only reason we became friends (that and the fact that we never lived together). Obviously, we went. After that we went pretty much every Thursday until Thursdays were only reserved for one place and one place alone.

I met Chrissy 14 years ago Freshman year of college in the classy dorm called Winnasquam. Chrissys first impression was unforgettable as she introduced herself during a game of 2 truths and a lie by announcing that she brought 62 tank tops and had a hermit crab named Jessica. It was from that moment when the Winnisquam girls, although all completely different, got hooked and became best friends. After college we suckered Chrissy into moving to Franklin to be roomies again for a while. And together, over the past 14 years, we have traveled across the world, partied way too much, helped each other through difficult times, and been there to celebrate many of life's amazing moments together.

Groomsman

Bob and I met freshman year at Wentworth, a Thursday night at Bram’s. I was a regular, but this was Bob’s first night. My initial thought was, does this kid know we are in Boston? He needs to abandon his childhood fantasy of playing for Syracuse, as he was decked out in his Syracuse gear. We spent hours playing quarters and downing Soco&diet. After that night it seemed like Bob was stalking me, everywhere I went I would bump into him. The same Architecture Studio, classes, even the same dorm building. To this day our friendship has grown and we are known as Bob and Big. We currently work for the same company and live just miles apart. Who would have thought that I would meet my best friend after a game of quarters and a few Soco&diets. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day.

Bridesmaid

In their first month of dating, Bobby traveled to be with family 3 out of 4 weekends. Chrissy should’ve know then. I first met Chrissy when Bobby brought her to attend our cousin’s school musical. I had to share first impressions with an uncle, an aunt, 5 first cousins, and a first cousin once removed. I remember sitting in the auditorium thinking, this is fine, this isn’t weird, but not believing it at all. When the show was followed by loud drinks around a crowded kitchen island, I voiced my concerns for this poor girl. My brother’s response was, “Eh, toss her right into it. Sink or swim, right?”   Since then, Chrissy has been my go-to girl, especially at family gatherings. She’s the one I vent to, confide in, and cheers with. Welcome to the family, Chrissy! Thank god you can swim

Groomsman

As Chrissy’s brothers it’s always been our job to be a highly critical and borderline ominous peanut gallery. We have always tried to scare off anyone not worthy of our wonderful sister. We met Bobby for the first time during a football, more accurately a Patriot’s Sunday at our house. In enemy territory, he donned his Eagles gear, when pressured to run a Christmas 5k the following weekend he agreed without a hint of worry. When he left, I believe Chrissy’s Dad’s words were “Why’d you take it so easy on him?”, but even to Bob it was undeniable, we love the guy. He showed up at the Christmas 5k and crushed it but was tactful enough to let one brother beat him at least. From there it’s been nothing but laughs and hugs seeing Bobby, and we are ecstatic to be adding another brother to the crew

Flower Girl

My mom and Chrissy have been best friends since they were 18, I’ve known Chrissy my entire life. When I came into this world I met her as my godmother. My sisters and I couldn’t be more excited to have her marry “Kookie Bobby”.

Michael DeCarr

Groomsman

The story of how Bobby met Michael is a unique one. Fortunately for the two of us, our meeting was a forced event. We are cousins and our parents LOVED to hang out (drink), therefore we were obligated to be around each other quite often. We ended up getting along pretty well as time went on, and luckily for us, lots of these forced events took place in Boston at the best place in the world, Fenway! This really grew both of their love and passion for the Sox and Patriots naturally. Things only escalated for our friendship as college years came along (Cortaca), and Michael’s visits to Boston, but we won’t dive into those experiences for obvious reasons… And the rest is history!
