Awh, nuts!

In 2009, before practice, Chrissy was wandering the high school halls and saw her pal Cassy. She was eating corn nuts and sitting with Aaron. Although Chrissy didn't initially notice Aaron ( because she was focused on food, not boys... priorities, right?), Aaron noticed Chrissy. He asked Cassy for Chrissy's phone number and the two began talking. Chrissy and Aaron came to know each other's life story, interests and secrets. Nicknames were created, hallway poking wars had commenced, and the friendship blossomed. A year and a half later, Chrissy's friends (all of which knew that she liked Aaron more than a friend) convinced her to go to lunch with Aaron and his pals. The chemistry was undeniable and on January 25, 2010, Chrissy told Aaron she liked him...a lot. They became each other's first actual relationship and their first date was to see Sherlock Holmes. Afterwards, they spent hours talking, laughing and shared each other's first kiss... Now we are here, thank you Corn Nuts.

The Proposal

Chrissy was in Florida for an internship during the summer of 2016. Aaron had arranged a trip to visit the gal he missed so much. He told Chrissy that at least once while he was there, they had to go to dinner and the beach to see the nightly pier activities. They ate dinner at Extreme Pizza (because Chrissy talked it up so much from the last time she was there). After dinner, they grabbed Chrissy's bluetooth speaker and headed to the beach. The two sat watching the sunset and listening to some oldies music. Aaron tried striking up conversation to lead into the big question but Chrissy was too excited about a pirate ship at sea. Eventually, Aaron was able to secretly set up his camera and have his moment. While "Silhouettes" by The Rays was playing, he brought up that although Chrissy wasn't ready to be married yet, he was willing to wait. He then pulled out a box with a stunning engagement ring in it and asked Chrissy Harris to become Chrissy Beuchel. The evening was romantic and random, and it was perfect.
