This is our favorite fly shop for everything you need and booking float trips. Request Steven Smith or Slade Feddore as your guide - they're good friends and amazing guides!
This alpine lake is incredible to visit. Hike up from the trailhead or drive all the way to the lake for a picnic and day in the lake - bring tubes, floats, picnic blanket, etc. Must pack out your trash and bring back to town with you. If you're wanting to hike - you can start at the lake and also hike up to Sacajawea Peak - the Bridger Mountain range's highest peak. This is where we took some of our engagement photos. Bring your phone or camera, the views are breathtaking and you may see wildlife. It's one of the only places in Bozeman to see mountain goats!
Nova Cafe is one of our favorite breakfast spots. Chrissie loves the Tom Avo Benedict and Spencer always gets the Basic Breakfast. Grab the local paper, magazines and BoZone on your way in to look over the local events during your trip!
This is one of our favorite hikes. Be sure to look it up on All Trails app/website before you head up so you know what you're getting into - you don't get cell services in the Gallatin Canyon. Local tip: When you get to the top, go towards the left to the "hole" you look out of. If you're SUPER careful - climb up top and take in the view from on top of the rocks. Do not bring your children up here. A slip could easily be fatal. Seriously, be careful please! *Be careful of bears - bring bear spray. The trail has high enough traffic that it's not really an issue, but always be aware of your surrounds.

Pack a picnic and feel free to jump in the lake. Could be a long hike with a tube or raft, but would be worth it if you strap to your pack. One of our favorite spots to have a picnic. (Stop at The Coffee Pot for lunch to go and bring with you!) *Be careful of bears - bring bear spray. One of our favorite breweries is located on "Bozeman Beach." All of our Florida friends will laugh at what Bozemanites call their beach. You can swim, paddle board or just float around. Best part is that the brewery is right there for lunch, dinner and the best beers. The Midas Crush is Spencer and I's favorite beer from Map.
Roof Top Bar. Prosecco on tap. Flights of local beer. Need I say more? Be sure to check out Facebook, BoZone.com and other local websites to find out where live music, trivia and other events are happening around Bozeman while you're here.
One of our favorite breakfast/brunch spots.
Our favorite sushi place.
