The Wedding Website of Hannah Strauch and Chris Rhodes

Julianne Zilahy

Bridesmaid

Julianne is my voice of reason. While dancing with the Alabama Ballet, Hannah was there when Julianne received her acceptance letter into law school. Julianne invited Hannah to her law school's Halloween party, which is where she coincidentally met Chris for the first time. They've remained so close while being separated by change in career paths and so many miles.

Victor Griffin

Groomsman

I met Victor the same night I met Hannah. I don't remember meeting him that night, but if you ask Victor, he'll say that I told a joke as I was leaving the bar...and that is when he knew that the two of us would be friends. Long story short - we did become friends. Ask him about that time he lost a bet on our chess game.

Erin Kuwabara

Bridesmaid

Erin is my ray of sunshine. Whether I was having a bad rehearsal day or just not really feeling it, she's been there to lift me up. While dancing with Alabama Ballet, we have definitely been through some of lows in the dating game. She now lives in Wilmington, DE and daces for First State Ballet company. We're so lucky we're able to still see each other!

Ryan Pierce

Groomsman

Ryan and I have been friends since the 6th grade. He was my roommate for three years at Clemson and we built MegaCouch together. RIP MegaCouch.

Sean Sessions

Bridesman

Sean is my clarity. He's always been there to push me to see truth and do more. We danced together for 3 years, constantly challenging each other. We pushed each other to be better, more motivated and stronger everyday as Soloists with Ballet Theatre of Maryland this past year. I would not have danced this long or this well without a friend as honest, loving and dedicated as Sean.

David Banaszak

Groomsman

David bloodied my eyebrow with a freezer door in Myrtle Beach, SC when we were 18...alcohol was involved. We've been friends ever since.

Arielle Espie

Bridesmaid

Arielle gives me perspective. She's as unpredictable as they come, but we've been each other's rock for as long as we've been friends. I can't tell you how many times we ended up at the Waffle House with one of us crying- usually her, but only once dressed as Catwoman and Marilyn Monroe. She's wild and free, and I've learned so much from our friendship!

Kylee Rhodes

Flower Girl

My niece Kylee loves to laugh and dance, and definitely fills the flower girl shoes all too well. She's the perfect girl for the job!

Alex Strauch

Officiant

My baby brother is the most eclectic member of the family and has such a great energy. I never imagined Alex doing anything "official," let alone officiating my wedding. Once Chris and I got engaged, everything was moving at 100 miles an hour and I thought; "Who do I really want setting the tone and speaking at my wedding?" The thought of a stranger or religious figure just did not work in my vision. With Alex's cool confidence, I knew he'd be the guy for the job. I'm thrilled he's willing to officiate for us!
