If you’re looking for a memorable way to spend time while you’re in the area, we highly recommend booking a day of fly fishing on the Teton River or the South Fork of the Snake River. Even better—ask for our good friend Connor as your guide! It’s a perfect way to take in the beautiful Wyoming scenery and enjoy a relaxing day on the water. If you would like to try your hand at fishing without the commitment, head over to the banks of the Teton River (Bates Bridge, Big Eddy Boat Launch) in Driggs instead!
For a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the area, we recommend floating the Teton “lazy river” on a paddle board! You can rent boards locally, and they’ll conveniently drop them off at the boat launch and pick them up when you’re done—making it super easy and stress-free. It’s a beautiful float where you might spot moose, soak up plenty of sunshine, and take in the incredible scenery. This is a great activity for kids and families, and life jackets are available to rent as well. Depending on the section you choose, the float typically takes about 2–4 hours. If you’re up for an adventure, we highly recommend spending a day exploring the lakes and trails in Grand Teton National Park. It’s about a 45-minute drive from Victor and absolutely worth the trip. A great place to start is the Jenny Lake Trailhead—from there, you can access some of the most scenic hikes in the park. Be sure to click “view” on our site to check out the AllTrails map for route options and details. Don’t forget to bring bear spray and a swimsuit—you’ll definitely want to cool off in the lake after your hike! Our personal favorite spot is String Lake, which is perfect for an easy walk, a swim, or just relaxing by the water.
