We are requesting that guests arrive no later than 4:45pm. This should ensure you have time to find a seat and be ready for the ceremony to start at 5:00pm sharp!
Leave the car keys at the hotel! We'll have a charter bus to take guests from the arranged hotel to the venue so you can enjoy the night (and the open bar!) without worrying about drinking and driving. The bus will leave at 4:00 PM sharp. If you miss it, you'll need to arrange your own ride, like an Uber or Lyft. There will be a single return trip at 10:30 PM to take everyone back to the hotel. Don't be late!
Yes, there is plenty of on-site parking available at the venue. We want everyone to have a good time and get home safely, so please plan to have a designated driver. If you happen to celebrate a little too much, you are welcome to leave your car overnight and pick it up the next morning. We'd rather you get home safely in an Uber or Lyft than worry about driving.
We'd love to see you all dressed up for our special day! Our dress code is semi-formal, meaning you should choose an outfit that is a step above casual but not quite a ball gown. While we want you to be comfortable, we would prefer if you leave the jeans and t-shirts at home.
North Carolina is HOT in the summer—and honestly, most of the year. There's also a chance of heavy rain, especially since we’ll be right in the middle of hurricane season. The ceremony is currently planned to be outdoors, but don’t worry—if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we have a solid backup plan to move things inside. The reception will be indoors and air-conditioned (thank goodness!). We recommend packing an umbrella for the weekend—just in case!
As much as we love tiny dance-floor crashers and juice-box toasts, this celebration is adults-only—unless your little ones were specifically named on the invitation. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night off!
Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is the most convenient option. It’s about 20 minutes from the hotel block, 35 minutes from the venue, and 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh.
