It sure will! Beer, wine, and Rail liquor will be included and available until midnight when the event ends. There will be a cash option to upgrade from what is already available if you desire.
The most common way to get around the city is to drive. Here are some alternatives if you don't plan to have your own vehicle, would rather not lose a parking spot, or simply don't want to drive your own car around an unfamiliar city: The Hop (https://thehopmke.com/) is a newly opened streetcar in Milwaukee. The northern quarter of the current route is close to The Astor Hotel. A full map of its route can be found on its website. The first year of service is free, sponsored by Potawatomi Casino. Milwaukee also has a bus system (http://www.ridemcts.com) with many routes coming close to The Astor Hotel. Uber and Lyft are also both present in force.
If you have a room at the Astor Hotel you will be able to park in the hotel lot. You will need a fob to access the lot. We have been assured that even if you arrive before your room is ready you can still get access to park in the lot. We have secured parking in the lot of St Paul's Episcopal Church located 1 block north of the hotel (914 E Knapp st, Milwaukee, 53202). Street parking in the city of Milwaukee is free on weekends and on weekdays after 6PM as well. The street car running near by (and being free) opens more street parking options or structure parking if none of the closer options will work for you. As one final option Milwaukee has both Uber and Lyft present if you're in the mood to summon a stranger out of the internet to drive you around. Lyft tends to have slightly better prices in this city.
Bolywood Grill - http://bollywoodgrill.us/about-us - about 4 blocks west by south west from the Astor. Indian cuisine available for carryout or buffet dine in. Gluten free and vegetarian available. We recommend the mango ice cream with chai tea after the buffet. The Knick: https://www.theknickrestaurant.com/menus/ - 2 blocks east of the Astor. Good for a cocktail, brunch, lunch, or dinner. Slightly on the upscale while maintaining a casual atmosphere. Cafe at the Plaza - https://plazahotelmilwaukee.com/eat/ - about 3 blocks southwest from the Astor. Open from 7AM to 2PM located in a small plaza in the center of another nearby hotel. With limited seating we suggest calling ahead. Specializing in locally sourced products you will find typical american brunch and sandwiches. County Clare Irish Inn & Pub - https://countyclare-inn.com/ - 2 blocks north of the Astor. If having "Irish Pub" in the name doesn't tip you off to what food you'll find here I don't know if I can help you.
Check in is officially at four however we have been told that you can check in earlier if your room is ready. If you need access to parking in the Astor lot we have been told that you can give your vehicle information and get access to the lot even if your room is not yet ready.
Roasted chicken breast will be served with asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, and mustard jus. This option is gluten free. Filet mignon wil be served with a brandy cream sauce, goat cheese au gratin potato, and rainbow carrots. Mushroom risotto with parmesan cheese is an entire meal. This option is vegetarian. All three options above will be served with a garden salad. Chicken fingers with fries is the option chosen for a kids meal. This will not be served with a salad.
If your food allergy is severe enough that cross contamination is a concern this meal choice will not be gluten free enough. When we inquired about this very thing we were told that it was prepared in the same kitchen as the rest of the food. It is listed as gluten free in the material we received from the Astor. We leave it to our guests to determine what they can and cannot eat but will try to do our best to provide the information we have so that you may make the most informed decision possible.
Of the entrees available the mushroom risotto is vegetarian and the chicken is gluten free. Please let us know what the nature of your dietary needs are if they are not already covered.
We have a block of rooms reserved at The Astor Hotel. There are many nearby hotels as alternatives however we have only arranged a room block at The Astor.
