Just a quick note for anyone booking lodging — we’ll be staying at Three Rivers Resort and the reception will be there after the ceremony. Staying there will make the day much easier since transportation will be simple and you won’t have to drive back and forth after the reception. Of course stay wherever works best for you, but we’d love to have everyone together if possible We are staying in Cabin 19 (Riverfront). Lodge Rooms (B, C, D & F) are the most budget-friendly options. Lodge Room C is handicap accessible. For larger groups, Cabins 28 & 29 sleep up to 8 guests. June is a busy season near Crested Butte, so we recommend booking early. For availability and details, please contact the resort directly. Guests are welcome to stay wherever feels most comfortable.

Wedding Road Trip to Colorado 👰🏻♀️🤵🏻♂️ We’ll be road-tripping to Almont with Brinley 🐶 and plan to arrive Thursday, June 11 around 4:00 PM (depending on stops!) at Three Rivers Resort. If you’re driving from Arizona (or nearby), you’re welcome to caravan with us! We’re planning to take our time, enjoy the scenery, and make a few fun stops along the way. Meetup: 4:30 AM – Meet at Shell Gas Station (right off Interstate 17) to fuel up and start the road trip together. ⸻ 🛣️ Route (to Almont / Three Rivers Resort) 1. I-17 North → Flagstaff 2. U.S. Route 160 East → Kayenta 3. Continue past Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park 4. US-160 → Durango 5. U.S. Route 550 → Montrose 6. U.S. Route 50 → Gunnison 7. Turn onto CO-135 North toward Crested Butte 8. Stop in Almont (before Crested Butte) – destination: Three Rivers Resort ⸻ 🌄 Planned Scenic Stops 📍 Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park 📍 Forrest Gump Point 📍 Mesa Verde National Park (overlook) 📍 Gunnison Welcome Sign 📍 Blue Mesa Reservoir ⸻ 🍔 Lunch Stop We’ll likely stop in Durango. Ceremony Location & Transportation🌲 (Please Read)
Our ceremony will take place at: Emerald Lake Emerald Lake Trail Crested Butte, Colorado GPS Coordinates: 38.9066° N, 106.9405° W Please use the coordinates above when navigating, as cell service can be limited in the area. Parking near Emerald Lake is very limited. We kindly ask all guests to carpool to the ceremony location. 4WD vehicle or carpooling required the trail apparently has just a few potholes, so you can take that into consideration and decide for yourself what vehicle is best. We recommend: • Coordinating rides with other guests • Driving together from Three Rivers Resort • Arriving early to allow time for parking and walking Additional timing details will be shared closer to the wedding date.

Hertz Car Rental - Gunnison - Gunnison‑Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) – Another airport location option for trucks, SUVs, sedans, etc. Required 4WD to get to emerald lake We strongly recommend renting a car, as mountain areas are spread out and rideshare services are limited. Rental cars are available at the Gunnison airport, including: Hertz An SUV or AWD/4WD vehicle is recommended for mountain roads.

Closest Airport: Gunnison–Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC), about 30 minutes from Almont. Other options include Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) (~1 hr 45 min), Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) (~2 hrs), and Denver International Airport (DEN) (~4–4.5 hrs). Flights and rental cars may be cheaper from larger airports. AWD/4WD recommended.
