We met at McDonald's which was my job at the time. He came in and was talking to my coworker Eric. Well Eric was like "Hey Chris, meet my boy Kelley. He drive a Monte Carlo like you like." Embarrassed I just walked away but not after hearing DeVante say he was good lol smh. A few days passed he came back in but it was me that had to bag his food. I joked saying how he couldnt speak and he said hey. Well that weekend I walked over to the store that was connected to my job and he worked there. As I'm walking out the store eating my Reese's lol he uses the OLDEST pick up line in the world. He asked "Where mine at?" I told him in the store lol. We spent the next 20 minutes or so talking and he told me to take his number and of course I did. And here we are almost 7 years later.

Well one day we were talking my "dream proposal". I told him that I wanted a dinner with my close family there and to make sure my nails were done lol. The weekend of my birthday he insisted that I get my nails done. Umm ok? Lol. RED FLAG !!!! lol We go out to dinner just the two of us and afterwards I'm like dang no proposal. So I thought that my suspicions were wrong. Well the next day (my actual birthday) I told him that I just wanted to spend the day in bed since I was secretly mad at him for not proposing haha. He told me that couldnt happen because my sister and his mom wanted to cook for me. Well people started arriving and the party started lol. After awhile my sister took the floor and said that he had a gift he wanted to give to me. I knew I didn't see a gift bag sitting around so I was a little confused. So he just leaning on the wall looking at me. I could look at him and knew he was nervous. The proposal went like this: "Well we been together almost 6 years. We have had our ups and downs and (sighs) I just think its time" Seriously dude ?? He got down on one knee in front of me and asked the million dollar question. Of course I said YASSSSS !!!!
