Our Story
How we met......
Chris & April's story begins in 1996. They agree that their first knowledge of each other was in 1996, however the exact date, whether it was summer, fall, or winter is still one of their great debates. Throughout the years they did not know the magnitude of how their lives were unknowingly intertwined and would later fit together like puzzle pieces that had always been missing. Chris was a student at Clark Atlanta Univ. along with April's cousin. Whether it was Chris visiting Monroe, NC with April's cousin for family functions or April visiting her brother in Atlanta, they were later told by her brother & cousin that they always asked how the other was doing. June 26, 2017 (21 yrs later) Mr. Boone "finally" made the decision to ask April on a date. Their love continues to grow...
The Proposal
June 16, 2018.....
After dating for over a year, Chris decided that he could not wait to spend one more day without the love of his life by his side. He had recently came back in town from work and setup a dinner at Canoe in Atlanta along with his best friends, their families and his soon to be sons. After many laughs, ordering several shareable meals including Kangaroo steaks, when it was time for dessert, Chris got on one knee and asked April to spend the rest of their lives together. June 16th 2018 marked one of the greatest days in both of their lives as April said yes!
Quincy
Meet our oldest son....
Everyone knows him as "Q", the original sneaker-head, fashionista, and expensive T-shirt purchasing guy! Q loves music and is before his time when it comes to being a huge movie buff. He can spout off facts about any movie, actor, or car that you name.
Davion
Our second oldest son.....
Meet Davion, known to most as “Dae" and the next #56 Lawrence Taylor Defensive End Player. Although basketball was always Dae’s favorite sport, football has become his only sport! (D1 colleges here we come)
Calil
Meet our youngest son.... AKA "WolfPaw"
Known to some as "Wolf-Paw". This young man was given this name and deemed the Great “Wolf-Paw” of Great Wolf Lodge at our last staycation. Calil is also an avid reader and has been known to read 3 books at one time.
Ariana
Our youngest & only girl...
Meet Ari, AKA “Lil Diva" with face-itude! Ari loves creating art pieces, listening to music and gardening. She also has 100 facial gestures to match every piece of clothing in her wardrobe!
