We’re getting married!

On February 9, 2016 we met halfway between my house and his which ended up being at Compass, a local resturaunt in the village of Carlsbad. We instantly connected, I talked about the story of adopting my dog, he found this story exciting, we learned we had lots in common as we both worked in insurance and both had 2 kids. As we said our goodbyes there was a magical kiss with instant sparks. As I walked back to my car I turned around and saw Chris coming back my way as he wanted just one more kiss. I sure found my new loved filled direction on this special night.

Spring break is here and we decided to go to the Grand Canyon. The views have been so amazing, we admired the real life art work in person. Our last stop at the Grand Canyon was the desert lookout tower. Chris had somehow arranged for a VIP private tour to the top of the lookout after closing time. On the first floor the guide told a story about the 4 snakes symboling 4 women to choose from for a wife, one was certain to be beautiful and one was absolutely very kind, he decided to choose the kind one and it turned out that she was both beautiful and kind... moral of the story kindness was the key to choosing a wife. We then walked up further until we made it to the 4th floor lookout, I admired the canyon views out of the randomly sized windows, I then said look at that beautiful heart shaped cloud in the sky. I turned to him and he was down on one knee with tears in his eyes and a ring in his hand he asked me to marry him. Gasping, I said YES ... 💍 I absolutely love this guy with all my heart.
