Chris met Victoria his junior year of college. They were brought together by his neighbors on Center Street who they hung out with. They became friends and started dating a year after even though she was leaving to study abroad in Australia for a semester. They survived the distance through Skype and Whats App and then picked up right where they left off when she returned. This only brought them closer. After they both graduated they continued dating long distance from Doylestown, PA to Wyckoff, NJ for about 4 years until Chris landed a job in the Big Apple. They then got an apartment together in Weehakwen where they started the next chapter of their lives.
On December 22, 2017 Chris decided to propose to a girl that would strike a chord in the heart of any sensitive 28 year old man in the country. Sometimes Victoria is a straight up scorpion woman, but that did not deter Chris from what he knew he had to do. With the help of Chris's and Victoria's families, they set up her backyard with a "Will You Marry Me" sign, which Chris made and a pathway of luminary bags lit up with candles. Chris got Victoria out of the house and took her to Van Saun park. This is a park for small children and the website should be taken down for false advertising. Needless to say, Victoria had a 'blast' at this place. To stall time, Chris ate a Belgian waffle to make sure everything was set up back at Victoria's house. They returned and Victoria's Mom had told her to go in through the back because 'she just cleaned the floors'. They walked through an arbor of lights that led to a lit up pathway in her backyard. The song 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran came on and the sign was instantly turned on. Then Chris blacked out for a little and ended up on one knee. The rest was history. Their families who were eagerly watching from the windows came out to congratulate them with champagne to toast to their engagement.
We can't wait to celebrate with all of our family & friends!
