The dress code for the ceremony will be cocktail attire, while the reception is a costume party. We are going to be in Halloween costumes at the reception and highly encourage everyone attending to get into the Halloween spirit and dress up as well :) There are multiple rooms at Loring Greenough house that can be used to change into costume after our ceremony - please remember to bring all your costume materials and plan accordingly (check the schedule page)!
Please plan to arrive by 1:45 PM to ensure you're settled in before the ceremony begins. We’ll be starting promptly at 2:00 PM, and we want to make sure everyone is comfortably in their seats before the big moment. Thank you for helping us stay on schedule!
To be determined. While we plan to have the ceremony in the outdoor garden, if it rains, we will move the ceremony indoors. Please check the weather on the day of and plan accordingly.
On this day, we want to be surrounded by friends and loved ones who have met and spent time with us through our lives. Due to the size of the venue we booked, we are not able to accommodate additional guests if we haven't got in touch with you about RSVP invites already. Thank you for understanding our desire to keep our wedding intimate and for being a part of our journey!
While we would love to have everyone at our event, due to the nature of our celebration being at a brewery, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you understand and can enjoy a night of celebration without little ones in tow. We truly appreciate your support and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Yes, please alert us to any dietary needs and/or allergies so that we can do our best to accommodate all guests - we want everyone to enjoy their dinner! The RSVP will allow you to communicate any questions about food, and the earlier you RSVP with this information the easier it will be for us to work to accommodate your needs.
Unfortunately, we will not be providing transportation between the hotels and the ceremony, so as to allow guests to decide if they prefer to stay locally in Jamaica Plain or travel to and from other Boston areas. We will note that the entire city diameter is maybe 6 miles and there are plentiful means of transportation - Blue Bikes, MBTA, Uber/Lyft! We have some instructions on how to get around by MBTA in our Travel tab. More information can also be found at https://www.mbta.com/schedules/subway. Please let us know if you have any questions and we are happy to help!
Yes, there is parking available for the ceremony at the venue. For the ceremony, there is free street parking on Centre Street and on side neighborhoods near Loring. However, we recommend carpooling or taking the MBTA as parking spaces are limited at this venue. For the reception, there is a large parking lot dedicated to Sam Adams with no parking time limit.
