At the top of this gorgeous waterfall, there is easy access to a serine pool where you can wade. For those who enjoy hiking, there is a steep climb down to the bottom of the waterfall. Additionally, this is merely a couple of miles from the venue. We went here on our first date.

Fort Steilacoom Park

Hidden behind the beautiful barns and convenient playground, there is a path that leads to a lake where anyone can enjoy a lovely fall walk. For anyone with fur babies, there is also a wonderful dog park. Fort Steilacoom is a former military base turned Lakewood treasure.

Mount Rainier

Standing at over 14,000 ft, Mt Rainier (or Mt Tacoma) is the largest mountain in the Pacific Northwest and the 17th largest in America. Whether you just need something to look at, a beautiful place to fish, or are looking to stretch your legs with a hike, Rainier is a host to anything your imagination can find.
