Who, what, where, when, why?

Answer

A daytime brunch wedding at Bacchus Bistro! The ceremony and reception will both take place in this lovely French restaurant's charming outdoor garden in Brooklyn. As far as why? True love, taxes, health insurance, an end to living in sin... dealer's choice. We will most likely continue the celebration into the evening at a nearby location for those who can handle it!

Dress Code?

Answer

Garden Party/Dressy Casual - We want you to be comfortable at our wedding, but still look cute in pictures... Keep in mind that this is a daytime brunch wedding. The ceremony and some dining tables will be outdoors, so dress accordingly. Mid September over the past few years has been in the mid 70s-low 80s so we'll see what global warming has in store for us this year (#prayfortheicecaps).

indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to be outside. The reception will have both indoor and outdoor seating depending on what table you are assigned to. The venue is prepared with a covered backup option. No need to bring your panchos or rain coats unless it's part of your lewk. In that case - live your truth.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Check your RSVP. If you didn't get a plus one, and need one, check with Tiff and Chris by phone or text to see if there is room (denials are not personal, we just haven't won the lotto yet).

Are Children Welcome?

Answer

We paid for them, so yes! They should be included in your RSVP. If you have harbored a secret love child and your bun has come out of its oven, please contact Chris and Tiff ASAP.

How to get to the venue?

Answer

For train travel: folks can take the A, C, or G trains to Hoyt/Schermerhorn, or take the 2, 3, 4, or 5 trains to Nevins Street. You can also grab a cab, take a Lyft or Uber, or a Citi Bike if you have really good health insurance.

venue accessibility?

Answer

Tiff sleeps in, and Chris is a horrible sleeper so we are woke as hell! All to say, the venue is wheelchair accessible. If there are particular concerns, please contact Tiff and Chris.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

No later than 11:15AM EST. We will be starting the ceremony promptly at 11:30AM.

What kind of food and drinks will be served at the reception?

Answer

The reception will include a three-course French cuisine brunch menu with an open bar for beer, wine, champagne, coffee, tea, etc... The bartenders will also have a limited supply of liquors and mixers to make basic cocktails.

Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-free options?

Answer

Yes, Chris and Tiff have eaten with you all before. We know the deal, no one will starve... we are checking on gluten free options.

Will transportation between hotels and the venue be provided?

Answer

Since both hotel blocks are a short distance from the venue, and because the ceremony and reception will take place in the same location, we have not made accommodations for transportation. Please contact us if you have a specific concern. Uber, Lyft and Yellow Cabs are available in the area.

Neither of us live in Brooklyn, but downtown parking will probably not be kind. There are 2 garages semi-close to the venue: - Edison Park Fast - Icon Parking

Answer

Feel free to take pictures of yourself, friends, and Tiff & Chris, but get consent before posting pictures of anyone else to social media. You never know who is in witness protection.
