Question

What about COVID?

Answer

We understand COVID is an aspect of our wedding that can be challenging. Therefore, we are working closely with our venue, to follow state protocols. Before the wedding, please evaluate for yourself (and anyone else in your party) if you are feeling ill, if you feel good please join us in celebrating, otherwise please enjoy participating via Live Stream. When at the wedding, please wear a mask at ALL times, in accordance with Oregon state law, and use the hand sanitizer provided and/or wash your hands regularly.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible or Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020. Due to COVID-19, we are only able to invite a certain number of people. Please understand that we would love to have all of you there! Please feel free to RSVP using the mail-back postcard or online here.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress in Semi-Formal attire. An outfit that is dressier than what you'd wear to an office but not as dressy as a formal evening gown or tuxedo. Please no jeans. Please dress warm, both the ceremony and the wedding are now being held OUTSIDE.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring the number of people indicated on the invite. We would love to meet your date, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, this is not possible.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! As long as their name is indicated on the RSVP, then please bring them.

Question

How many people will be attending?

Answer

Our venue, during COVID with Oregon state regulations, can hold up to 50 people OUTDOORS. We are estimating that that will be the amount of people joining us in celebrating. Please dress warm, both the ceremony and the wedding are now being held outside.

Question

Will you be streaming the ceremony?

Answer

YES! Due to the limited number of people who will be able to participate in the wedding in person, we will be streaming and recording the ceremony. The link will be here and multiple places on our website.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors at the same location, due to it being in Oregon (where it rains a lot) and is cold in January, there will be a tent and heaters. However, please dress warm.

Question

Do I HAVE to wear a mask?

Answer

YES! Anytime we are around people and not eating, we will need our guests to wear their masks. This includes- mingling with other guests, during the ceremony, during dancing, getting food, and going to the bathroom. Throughout the night, our DJ will also be making friendly reminders to make sure you have a mask on. This is both in accordance with Oregon state law, and the requirement of the venue.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3pm, please plan accordingly.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please keep your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer who will be documenting it.

Question

We have questions that haven't been addressed here- who should we contact?

Answer

Please contact Tessa (the Bride) at vtessa92@gmail.com.
